2nd Q. Favorite Pics

Just another random sample of pictures that I like from April, May and June (2007-2009)
Transform 2007. AWOL Group.
I still can't believe how much God did in opening this campus.
Titus.
Retribution. He was wrapped in B's blanket by Rikki Tai & Mita
Bianca decided he should die...
Little guy in my favorite pink Yankee's hat.
I only wear this hat because a) it's PINK! and b) because it drives my brother banana's with Yankee Dislike.
Cookie's Bach. Party. We needed to dig the cherry out of a whip cream pile. It was so messy and so fun. Only for for you, Cookie!
Awww, I love spring! My cute little patio is pictured here. I can't wait to start tearing up the dirt again! And, on my patio table you'll fine my faaaaavorite flower in the entire world, a hydrangea.
Sisterly Water Love
Watermelon + Swim suits + Texas Sun Kissed skin = summer time!
Sir Chadwick and I at one of Nick and Aaron's Parties
Evan and I. He and I worked out at the same gym for months and months but never spoke to each other. We just went about our business racking weights and pushing hard. It's such a small world sometimes. While at a party one night I was hanging out in the kitchen with a few friends when Evan recognizes me, introduces himself and proceeds to tell me how much he's enjoyed watching me work my tail off in the gym. It was incredibly sweet and completely encouraging to hear that, especially coming from him because he's such a hardcore machine.
David's Graduation party pictured with his girlfriends, Eddy & James!
Nicole, Ruben & I
Man, this was such a long time ago! Ruben is by far the best dance partner EVER! I can't explain it, but he can have me spinning like a top on any dance floor or kitchen!
Jeff, after losing his precious!
Scott & Jeff
Taken at Brent & Scott's going away party. Jeff, kept messing with me that night and while washing a few dishes I noticed Jeff hanging by the window just in front of me. I thought it would be a GREAT idea to spray him with water. I paid for it soon after but it was worth it! I'd do it again in a heartbeat, Grindle!
Brent, Mita & Scott. I miss these guys. Mita you look really short compared to all 6'3 of Scott!
Dirty!!! This is Brent trying to wipe his nasty sweaty face on mine. I'm not OK with other people's sweat, Denny!!
Same party. Pictured with a few of our girls... Britt, D and Melissa.
I love this picture!! Susan G. Komen 5k in Ft. Worth
I'm doing it again this year!
Sara & I at her summer time BBQ
Posted this for Lee. I know how much you love it when I say "Say hello to my belly!" I'm planning a Houston trip this summer - you've been warned!

Aww, little baby pony horse! Anytime I pass him while on my lunch walks he pokes his little nose through those little, what are they called - fence links, grates, who know... I could just eat him he's so cute!

You'll see...

Totally random but this video makes me laugh! Margarita is so crazy! Good times. She's so special in the head....
My friend, Will, commented that it was very much "COPS" like. I'm guessing because the video is darker? I dunno. I hope you get to laugh along with us.

Stay tuned. I'm uploading a few swimming videos tomorrow.

I stand corrected....

Called my Dad during lunch and asked "Hey, Dad what was I like as a kid?"

Dad: "YOU WERE A PAIN IN MY ASS!!! Here. Talk your mom"

Me: Smilin' on the other end of the phone thinking - He loves me! :)

For the love of skirts!

I'm wearing a skirt today.

The weather is great out.

Legs are beautifully shaved and
lotioned up!

Perfect skirt conditions... check!

Skirts and I have a long history and at times it wasn't pretty.

My Dad is infamous for being the pantie police! He was forever saying "are you wearing shorts under that skirt, Marcy?" I'd roll my eyes and say "yes, dad!" as I'd lift my skirt to my chest to show proof. haha! I know without a doubt I drove that man crrraazzzy! I also remember one particular day when he didn't skirt proof me. :) Haha!!!! I was way up high on a swing, smiling to my hearts content, wind blowing my pony tail when I hear... "MARCY!!!" my legs instantly drop to slow the swing down and I knew...I knew with every inch of my being that I was in trouble. I hadn't any idea what I'd done but I knew I had done something wrong! I hop off the swing and walk over to my Dad. Sorta confused. Sorta half expecting that I did do something wrong. (You see, I wasn't exactly an angel of a child. Go figure!) So, I reach my Dad and he swoops down and swats my butt HARD! Right there in the middle of the park, too!! I was like "WHAT!? what did i do?" He says "WHERE ARE YOUR SHORTS!!!!" I look down and realize that I was indeed wearing a skirt and I was certainly NOT wearing shorts under that skirt! I must've been about 7 or 8 years old. :)

If you ask my Dad "What was Marcy like as a kid?" He'll most likely say "Oh GAWD!" and walk away!

Davin, this one's for you!

The guys in my office were going nuts about this video yesterday, but because I WORKING I didn't stop to view it along with them. I can still hear them laughing..

Anyhow, I thought you might enjoy what made me smile this morning.

Check it out here

And, seriously, I thought Mita, Britt & D were funny for their little prank stunt they pulled on me last summer. The suckers moved my car while I was still in the 11 am service!!!! I was laughing and joking with someone on our way out to lunch when I stopped dead in my tracks and was like "where's my truck?" I wait a second, then my heart starts to pound, my mind begins to race when I begin looking around and notice that my Rodeo had be moved a few blocks down the street!!! Funnnnnnny!! Really, really....reeeeeeaaallllly funny!

And then.....

First off my eyeballs hurt. There's something in the air making me feel icky.

Secondly, hater...I mean Davin, I didn't have the guy at Hannah's read me the entire menu. I only had him read me the sandwich portion of the menu. I'm not THAT RUDE!

Thirdly, I don't got the guts to post the non-postable pictures! :) I can't do it!!!

Lastly...although, I do appreciate the love shared through texts, email and facebook regarding this blog it's really not going to kill you comment on here!!! Most of the Sweetness readers are, well, sweeeet! So, comment here or I'll start naming names! :)

Aaaand, thanks to all the lurkers out there to who read on a daily basis. I don't know who you are (I think) but it's cool that somehow you found this place and you're sticking around to read what God is doing in my life. I'd like to hear from you too! Don't be shy...it's all good. God actually orchestrated one cool friendship through this blog. A friend of mine, Tracey, introduced her friend Paula to this blog and now Paula and I are old chums. We've been able to share some amazing emails, great conversation and a few good meals.

That reminds me..Paula you gotta call me I found a great soup recipe for you!!!

Just a glimpse

I've been asking my sister to document a strength training workout for me for ages now. She's refused thus far because she didn't want to be the "crazy" in the gym holding the camera. I reassured her that no one would notice or think she was pervy! :) Well, maybe they might...after all she a bit pervy! JK!!!!!

This photo was added by request of the photographer, Margarita. I swear looking at this picture is like looking at me when I was a little girl. I haven't changed much. Is that a good or bad thing?
And the planks begin. Notice I'm still smiling....
Plank pain is mildly starting to settle on my muscles, but I'm still good.
Push Up holds! Blah! Double Blah!
Chadwick, I HAAAAAAATTTTTTTTEEEEE these!!!
He'd usually have me do about 4 sets at 45 seconds each set or until he'd notice all my muscles were shaking from the agony of holding this dang position.
Actually, this photo is me cheating. I should've been about 6 inches from the ground.
Posted by Picasa
Another request from the photographer. She loves her great lighting.
I love this shot! I'm working my lower abs here.
So glad baby girl got this camera. I just wish she'd be OK with letting me behind the lens. I was stretching my legs out here!
Oh, that reminds me!!! A serious complaint to my gf's out there!! why didnt anyone tell me my butt was so HUGE!!! Really?! I'll have to post a post of non post-able pictures because i was NOT ok with some full body shots!
Back to the floor. I promise you...I could NEVER train with Margarita in the gym. She's forever making me laugh. I can't help it! I can't control myself around her!
Posted by Picasa
Ok, fast forward a bit...I've been at it for a while now. Notice anything different?! In case you haven't noticed. I'M NOT SMILING!!!
This is me counting down the seconds. I'm in the zone.... I remember when I'd get to this place and try to mentally escape Chadwick would say "Marce, hey! Focus. Come back to me....you can't get out of this just be here and own it"
Almost done....
Haha!! this picture is so funny. I don't even know why. She's such a distraction.
Thanks for stopping by! Like I said this was just about 15-20 minutes of an hour and half of torture. It's so great to know that only God can totally take the credit for this.

Smile!

These photos have one thing in common, they all make me smile. Totally random but I took pictures from my folders from January to March of 2007-2009. These are just a minor sample of all that makes my heart swell. God has been sooooo good!
Pictured Here: Jeff - my brother, Scott, Mike and Brent.
Favorite part of the picture - check out the background!
Cookie and Jeff couldn't make a cuter couple.
Pegs, Myself and Shaynie! I dont even know what we were laughing about here.
Counldn't get this photo to flip but this seriously makes me laugh!!!!
Nick and Chadwick. Love the "ghetto white boys". Wasn't Nick totally Mr. T that night?
Sweet, Sweet women posted here are Ren and Cheramie aka "mimi"
Does Roddey look mad? HAHA! He just got a bath and this is me pulling up his ears for the photo. Bad, bad, bad mommy! It's ok, Rico Love!
Sara's Socks.
My sister was making me laugh so hard here! She was saying "give me a sexy smile" I can't do sexy, sorry mama! YOU'RE SO EMBARASSING but I still love you!
Sara, D and myself last Valentine's Day.
Parker Poo Poo wearing my long hair. This pictures makes me smile and gives me the willies all at the same time!
Ren at Babe's! She's so cute! Check out the poor horse's front leg!
The women I do life with!
Dane!!!! I miss you most of all!!

Decisions...Decisions....

March 7th is going to be a buuuusssssssy day.

There's a contest being hosted at North Lakes this Saturday called BENCH THIS. For the most part only men enter and compete but I thought it would be fun to see where I rank. At the very least I'd take home some prize for out benching the handful of chicas that entered. BUT!!!! This coming Saturday is the first day of a 6 week Basic Belly Dancing series at Blue Anjou. AHHH!!! Bench This vs. Belly Belly Belly Dancin'
What to do???

Random Today

* Working is flowing well. My boss handed me a pretty good account. Exciting!

* I was craving Hannah's for lunch.
I haven't been there since the menu change. Seriously, missing the old menu. I can't remember now exactly what I miss but something has been missing in my life since she's changed it up. What was it? I cant remember. I felt like having a "sammich" I had the guy read off the options over the phone and two caught my attention. My choices came down to the Rubin or Cuban? I never ever crave either but today I wanted to divert from my usual girlie stuff. I went with the Cuban Press. Yummm. I still have half if anyone is interested....as well as their famous crunchy waffle fries and Hannah's sauce! Will someone please tell me what's in that sauce?!

*while driving down the square I thought of Nick A. For some reason I run into him all over Denton. I once saw him a stop light and texted him with "heeeey, I'm watching you." Not creepy at all, huh? LOL He then starts looking around for someone who might be watching him. I laughed so hard because he looked so paranoid. He nicely return texts with "I'm sorry. Who is this?" more laughter continues as I realize that I had just changed my number and he's clueless as to who might be texting him. As I drive by him I honk my horn and wave. I see the light go off in his head when he realizes it was me and he mouths "ooooohhhhh".

*Thinking of Nick A. made me think of another man, we'll call him Barry, who I also that run into often around Denton. He's really sweet but when he gets to chatting you'll seriously stand there for at least 30 minutes. I feel awful but the fact that he doesn't pick up on body language cues that indicate that I need to go just makes the conversation painful and awkward. I hate to admit this but I once had to hide behind a row of books at the University library just to avoid the conversation. I feel awful about admitting that.

*While heading back to the office with my cute little Hannah's take out box I heard 'Wild Thing' on the radio. I was singing to my heart's delight when I noticed the man next to me singing the same song. We both just smiled at each other and continued to singing, except now we were singing to each other, well until the light turned green.

*I bought the cutest blue flowy dress this weekend! I'll have my sister take photos soon. That dress makes me feel sooo pretty! Don't you just love clothes that make you feel that way?

* I heard the coolest thing too. Ok, didn't actually hear it as much as I read it in the book I'm digging through, Lady in Waiting. The author said something so simply profound. The delivery will be messy but essentially she was saying that only Jesus can fully complete. Which is such a duh! moment but how often have we spent time just spinning our wheels in the insanity cycle not believing that? She also then said our help mates aren't there to complete us but to COMPLEMENT us. They're supposed to draw our better qualities and us theirs but not heal the brokenness within us. Healing is business best left for our creator.

*My heart is so happy today. Everyday I can see God's mighty hand guiding and leading me toward his will. I can also see how He's also been protecting me, even from myself, in the realm of relationships.

Wearing "THE JEANS"

I wanted to try out this new top with "the jeans". "The Jeans" are THAT pair that are most unforgiving. The pair that say "it's not ok that you downed an entire pizza - even if it was all veggies". This particular pair of jeans aren't so crazy tight that I can't breathe but tight enough that I have to invoke perfect posture or I'll get the dressed muffin top. Before leaving the house this morning I took off these jeans and put a more comfy pair of black slacks. I felt better and less constricted but on the other hand I felt like a total cheater. I'm not masochistic but I think that today I needed to be reminded that it's not ok to have been as out of control as I was last week. So, I wear these jeans to remind that self control needs to be back in full effect. I also wear these jeans to remind me that I'm not feeling so cute today. Don't get me wrong I'm looking FOXY :) but because these jeans aren't as lose as they once were ....soooo I'm not feeling cute as I hoped for.

Maybe I'll go workout during lunch. It'll at least give me an excuse to change!! A good 4-5 hours of waistline torture seem like enough payback. Don't you?

For some reason I can I hear Kourt laughing at me. I don't know why! :)

This Little Monster Needs a Home

One of our neighbors found him under a car. His current name is Rowdy as he's so anti rowdy and more mellow. Can you resist that face? He's looking for a good home. Could that be you? hmmmmm???
We believe he's gotta be a chow mix, as his gums and tongue are black. He'll be a bigger dog but most likely not huge.
Check it out, even when he's being squished to death my this tiny tot he's totally chill.
Contact me via, comment, email, or call me if you're interested.

It's Sugarlumps and Business Time

Ok, *huge exhale* I've been debating if I should post this on my blog because it's certainly not for the faint of heart or for some of pure and sweet friends. View discretion is highly advised!!

For those who know me closely y'all will not even be surprised to see the following videos. I hope you enjoy them! Kourt, I hoped you waited to view these here and not on youtube!

Thanks to Uyen for affirming the crazy in my head by introducing me to Sugar Lumps. I haven't grown tired of watching this dang video and I watch it at least once a day. How many weeks has it been? HAHA! It's also equally sad that both David and I know all the words to this dang song! I hear that David sings this song to his wife.

This here is Business Time - I have no words but it's awesome! Let me know what you think! The "turning it into a sexy dance" part is my favorite!

To Dance or Not to Dance?

I can already see my sister rolling her eyes because she knows....Ooooooh, does she know that I'm forever and always dancing around our apartment. So, Mama be forewarned... there's gonna be a been a bunch of shaking and moving in the next few weeks. I can't wait!! HAHAHA

Classes start next Thursday night at Blue Anjou in Lewisville. I'm so excited!

Check out this video. I couldn't take my eyes off this woman. Sorta like being hypnotized by a cobra...

P.S. Nicole.... don't even say what you're thinking about saying. Keep it in your head!

And Kourt's response.....

As I knew she would have something to say about and here's her response to last night's meal.

Kourt writes:

Thank you Jesus that I resisted that cheese! At least looking at the info for Zuppa Tuscana made me a feel a tiny bit better (minus salt!). When I got home last night a friend stopped by and asked me if I wanted to go on a walk. We walked to the square and back and then around TWU for 2 hours…. After that meal I should have walked for 3!!!!!!!!!

My response:

I too felt so guilty for the meal that I headed out my door for a hike around campus (TWU) with my boy in tow. He didn't know what happened to him. We walked in the direction up the hill on Bell and lemme tell you my buns were burning!!! I almost ran over these little student girls that were in my way too! I couldn't stop this moving train! :) Speaking of moving train...As I was passing Stark Hall this cute little freshman guy says "hey, what a cute puppy". I gave him a brief smile but kept on walking full force. However, in my head I was thinking "Hey-hey now. Lemme show you my cute little puppy, papi!" HAHA! But, I was on a mission to burn off those dang sticks!!! When we got home Roddey drank his fill of water and laid at my feet for the rest of the night. That's what I"m talking about! Poor lil guy... his momma beat the mess out of him with a power walk. Atleast, he only woke me up once last night for a potty break.

Was it worth it?

A few of us got together last night for dinner at Olive Garden. While sharing a meal together we often find ourselves picking off of each other's plates as well. Sara, my sharp witty+beautiful girl, ordered 5 cheese Ziti. I tried to be good and got the Zuppa Toscana, but I have to admit the the bread sticks ate my lunch!

At the end of the meal Renatta starts to hand her left over shrimp to Kourtney, I'm handing my soup to Mita and Sara is handing her left over Ziti my way. Actually, all that was left on Sara's plate was this delicious gooey cheesy mess. (P.S. I love cheese) I had a good spoonful of the cheesy mess and set it aside. 5 minutes later more cheese is calling my name so I go in for another spoonful. Yummy!!! It was soft and crispy all at the same time! Burnt cheese!! yeah!

This morning I'm tracking my points when I remembered that I hadn't counted my two bites of Sara's dish AND!!! I just about hit the floor when I saw the nutritional information.

Here's an email that went out to the ladies that were there last night.
Subject: OMG!!!!
Text:
looking up nutritional value for last night's dinner.

Sara's Five Cheese Ziti still has my mouth watering

Reply from Sara: I really didn’t need that information – thanks…
Reply from Mita: ouch!!! Hurts doesn't it! ;)
Reply from Cheramie: What the HECK!!! The food was sooo good, but worth almost a whole days worth of calories :( Can we pretend it doesn't?!?!
Kourtney hasn't read her email but I'm sure she'll have plenty to say about it!
Renatta is a sweet spirit...she'll most likely just laugh at us. Thanks, Ren.

Post Workout Vlog

There was another preworkout video to go along with this one but it was taking way to long to upload. So, here's the post workout recap.

The Rozell's have ANOTHER BOY!!

I just got wind that Emily and Clay Rozell had their baby last night. Rev's officially a big brother now! I wonder which of the Rozell women will add the first baby girl to the Rozell clan of men.

You can check out photos here on Emily's friend's blog or visit Emily's blog here.

From the Inside Out

If you've never heard this song before I encourage you to pay extra attention to the lyrics.
This is my prayer for today.
